Even though it could put the GOP at a strategic disadvantage not to have the sitting vice president running for the top spot, this is one of the times I relish it: the guy is 100-percent free to go out there and say what he has to say in defense of the Administration.
I’ll stop there, lest I say anything nasty about the Speakerette on the day of her brother’s death. That would be rude.
